lt's great that the dealer gave you list price, and didn't jump on the Jimny price bandwagon.

You could probably flip the car immediately for a £6,000 profit !!

l am still hoping that prices will return to sensible levels. And l say that as an SZ5 owner.

I wonder if it was the Silky Silver Metallic they swopped for the Blue. I wanted a change from our previous silver car. Hope I
have not turned down the only Jimny with that colour ..... shucks!!

Martin, based on your first hand experience does it seem the case that a commercial bulkhead could be retrospectively fitted to an SZ5?

Going by the silver comercial I viewed yesterday it looked as if that would be the case. Would be a great addition to any jimny dog owner as most spend 90% of their time with the seats down.

Disappointingly Suzuki haven't released a secure dog guard for the gen.4 yet to my knowledge.

It looks to be a straight fit.

Each picture below shows the SZ5 point followed by the commercial fitting point.

So at the floor it fits where there is a blanking plug on the sz5.

Halfway up it fits to the first blanking plug under the window.

At the top it fits to the first fitting for the rear grab handle

Excellent stuff, thanks for the detailed response Martin as usual.

There won't be a glut of these bulkheads being sold because of the commercials limited numbers. I wonder whether Suzuki will sell them as optional extra's or spare/replacement items.

I'd certainly buy one for my SZ5.

Will they be sold do you think?
I was wondering why they were removed from the Australian market, then Martin showed the internal rear door release that's missing in the non commercial versions.

Ok - I have a reply on pricing.

I guess Suzuki doesn't want to sell any.

Upper Grill - £1,283
Lower panel - £239
Mounting bars - not yet priced
Rear door lock - not yet priced
Rear door panel - not yet priced

We will chase further the pricing as it seems extreme

Wow, yes they don’t care. Someone in Chine will be knocking them out for about £25 if there is demand.

Yikes that's awfully expensive. It's perhaps too early in the commercials life to be chasing spare parts down at a reasonable cost from the dealership. Perhaps I'll have to hold out for a second hand one should any commercial owners want to sell their bulkhead.
