Jimny commercial was created by lightning
Just spoken with Suzuki U.K. who confirmed that the Commercial version of the Jimny is coming to the U.K.
But he couldn't say when. However what he did say was, that it would be in "even shorter supply" than the new version was back in 2018

Better get your order/reservation in with your dealer if you want one!

I bet the dealers play the same trick again, they will get preregisted  and then they will stick a whopping 30% profit margin ontop of the RRP....>:(
With the last lot there must have been loads of people on a waiting list for a GEN4, however  most of them went down the prereg  route and stuck on a forecourt.

So the teased update is:

1. Jimny Commercial has started production.
2. First ones in the UK at end of June
3. 500 per year for the UK (50% cut on previous numbers)
4. Centralised order management (hopefully will reduce Dealer fleecing but they could still fake orders for "friends")
5. No orders to be taken yet by Dealers.

Apart from the obvious change that the rear seats have gone and a floor has been fitted the other change that may affect people is that the front seats have had to be moved 10mm forward to meet the load space sizing regulations for "commercial" status. Therefore long legged people that already found the seats did not go far enough back may be challenged (time for Daves seat re-positioning brackets to make a come back!)
