Check the wires to the horn they can snap. The fuse box is above the bonnet pull in the driver's footwell.

I had the horn connectors off, looked ok, thought a fuse check would be next easy option.
Two days driving around since taxed, loving it!
Thanks again.

The Jimny horn is an abysmal piece of rubbish, designed to satisfy the law, and nothing more..!!!!
Buy a Stabilo Nautilus, wire it via a relay...then spend your days scaring the hell out of old folks...!!!!

+2 For the Stebel Nautilus.
I chose the Compact version which, by making a carefully angled bracket out of a gash bit of stainless I had kicking around, have fitted it in same (almost) place as the original horn

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

Thanks Max, Soeley and Gus for reminding me to get a Nautilus, after a Google I just ordered it from a company I had dealings with when I had my Scimitar, it's a small world.
I had need to use the Jimny horn last week and it sounded - very small, not big enough to make itself heard almost. Hope the Nautilus sorts this problem and gives my Jimny a voice.

I think Halfrauds sell them - I'm alsmost 100% certain I saw some in there last time I was at the Evesham branch and recall thinking I must fit one to Wonder woman's car - her's is as bad as the original Jimny one
Just had a quick glance on the Halfrauds site and nothing shows up - but then the site is one of the worst I've come across for finding anything
I also notice mine is NOT the compact version as I initially thought - mine is just the standard Stebel Nautilus, so not sure how differently the 'compact' version would fit.

Sorry but you're all wrong, big daft loud horns don't suit a Jimny, it need to have the little meep meep noise of the standard car,it's not a Scania tractor and doesn't need to sound like one.

The Jimny fuse box is in a panel under the driver's right knee on a UK right hand drive Jimny. You have to go upside down in the driver's footwell to access it!
My horn expired due to its location at the front, exposed to all the weather. I replaced it with whatever the motor spares shop up the road had loose under the counter, which is still a rubbish little meep, meep like Lambert says.
I have however fitted a Claxon completely separately for those moments when I want to get someone's attention playfully, rather than in a near crash situation. I think it's quite funny and my boy loves it!

Kirkynut I'm about to fit a Klaxon for the exact same reasons! I was a bit surprised at the size of it though - have you any photos of where/how you fitted yours?
Unfortunately Lambert, the lame and weak "meep-meep" of the original horn does not have the same impact on the A'holes that pull out in front of you or unexpectedly turn across you on the days when you are doing your "invisible act" (as happened during my trip to and from the last Jimny meet).
Moreover they are superb for lambasting the idiots sat at traffic lights texting, and for the morons that stop at an empty roundabout and appear to wait for traffic to turn up
