The standard sound system is on its last legs, it sounds terrible!
Was hoping someone can tell me what size speakers the jimny has, and how many speakers it has and the locations of them!
Literally know nothing about them so all information is greatly appreciated!!
Cheers guys

Haha halford I think the order is backwards there I personally would go with taping the wife's face first then start on the sound system lol

go for it James,

but personally, I'd start with fitting rears.
no matter how good speakers you fit in the front, they'll still be in the wrong place - around your ankles, and I can't hear too well through mine :S
whereas rears are a bit closer to our ears, (actually arse level) but they're able to project into the cabin, and not stuck at feet level like the fronts :pinch:

have fun, and if you could wait, you could see mine at the Northumberland meet

I fitted some good quality speakers in the rear of mine and it didn't seem to make much difference it was still crap so I wired all 4 Jim speakers to the front and lashed some old Hi-fi speakers in the mix connected to rear output of the stereo and BOOM!! It's a lot better! I did upgrade the Suzuki stereo as that was atrocious too the pockets for the speakers fitted to the jims isn't very good it doesn't seem to let the sound reverberate much with it just being in the side panels makes it quite a tinny sound

From memory I think the speakers are 10cm jobbies and that Kenwood make some decentish ones in that size.

I upgraded them in my first Jimjam with just fronts and it made quite a difference so adding rears too with the same will be loads better!
