I had a Skoda 1.9TDI which is the same engine and was a great engine until I trashed it by putting a hole in the sump :dry:

If you can get a 2.0 TDI, 140bhp, then your talking. Got one of those in my current Skoda. Would rip the J in half :lol:

Iv seen a SJ with a Pd130 motor in it somewhere... :blink: failing that il make up a adapter plate to bolt in a T4 1.9td engine and theres alot less wiring and electonics to worry about :P

There was a thread on here once with a J with a 3.9 Rover V8 or something. Seem to remember them saying they had a 4.2 to put in :lol:

I did have a full land rover chassis, axles, v8, manual box and some other goodies to go under my old Sj body :evil: all that to compete in punch hunts ;) until the missus had to much of an involvment and it all sort of disapeared :( she seemed to have stayed tho :pinch:

That one wasn't a real Jimny. Only Jimny body, the rest was Range Rover.
