I had a Skoda 1.9TDI which is the same engine and was a great engine until I trashed it by putting a hole in the sump
If you can get a 2.0 TDI, 140bhp, then your talking. Got one of those in my current Skoda. Would rip the J in half

failing that il make up a adapter plate to bolt in a T4 1.9td engine and theres alot less wiring and electonics to worry about

That one wasn't a real Jimny. Only Jimny body, the rest was Range Rover.
