Wired up the front spots first today..
Fogs:
Floods relay switched with main beam:
Then interior plastics and carpet. some new carpet for where the plastic doesnt cover, not looking too bad:
Then the seats. OMP buckets which Joel (winch-bitch) hates. Bit easier this time as I have lowered them a little and the roll cage makes a handy grab handle to help getting in/out.
plenty of room behind them for odds and sods..
Then found a convenient spot near the handbrake for the up/down switch for the tipping bed..
Also a myriad of smaller things here and there like getting the ABS sensors fitted, new wheel-nuts, bleed the brakes again (still not right).
I have organised a trailer to take it to the garage tomorrow evening for the MOT, rather than risk driving there with dodgy brakes. They can sort the brakes out properly hopefully before MOTing it

and actually drove it to the MOT garage. The brakes work a little bit on the first pedal press, more like it on the second so decided to drive there. Bit of wind noise from the cage and some unhappy noises from the rear prop (but i knew that was poor). Hopefully the garage can sort the brakes and MOT it tomorrow :silly:

They have cut back the steel pipe and added in a section of copper. I have dropped off a spare hose I luckily had in the garage and they will fit that and MOT tomorrow all being well
Another issue they spotted is the tyres rubbing on the front body mount bracket. They had a quick look at how I had cut the ones on J999MNY and will do that as well (it would be an MOT fail issue). Thankfully they have done all of this before actually doing an MOT test (keeps the history looking better!).
So tomorrow is the new deadline. Cutting it fine if I want to use it on this coming weekends lake district outing  watch this space!

Yep. AND the one I refer to as 'Gardening lane'. That is worse! J999MNY is very tall and struggles a bit in the thicker stuff. Ulysses is fairly low by comparison so should fair better (apart from the spare tyre on the roof maybe ~ I could be the first to puncture a spare wheel  )

Still some tinkering to do here and there, but I have tomorrow off work so should be fine for the weekend
Gardening lane is this one Sniper...
I named it that because of the amount of pruning we had to do to get J999MNY about 300yds
