Just waiting on some castor correction bushes but springs, panhard bushes and 25mm seat are ready to be fitted next Wednesday.

The quality of the Eibach springs appears to be very high, I wish my car had such a sparkle in the paint, they are in equal length pairs so the thicker seat will be fitted on the drivers front.

If they're equal length pairs just because they are taller doesn't mean that you're going to need a thicker spacer th level them. As in I think you're going to find 25mm is too much and will make it lean the other way.

The springs are all part numbered, rears are the same part number on each of the pair, same for the fronts. There won't be any bias across an axle, so chances are it will lean.

Yes, 25mm might be a touch severe, I see where your coming from...... but... I'm fitting the existing 15mm seats with the new springs and it will only give +10mm to the osf. I'm only 10st wet through, I think that will be enough to level it.

Hang on I'm confused. You're wanting to have a 15mm spacer under 3 springs and a 25 under the other?

You've got it ish.......

15mm seats + 30mm lift springs = 45mm lift on three corners.

25mm seat + 30mm lift spring = 55mm lift on osf only.

Ok that's clear. Do your dampers have a corresponding travel length to accept the longer springs or are you swapping those also?

I'd hate for it to rip itself to bits after all the effort you have in it!

It was a lot of fun Keith, a bit scary too...... It was a bit unnerving for poor old jack, it was his car and he was driving it home.

Some of the obstacles were very severe, one had a near vertical fall that swallowed a whole Discovery, it must have been a 10-12 foot fall. You did have the option to avoid it but still make the gate. Jack chose to go round on the lesser route (thank christ).

A really enjoyable day, I would suggest that all 4x4 owners go to one and see what their cars can do. Spectating is free.
