Ok so I admit I paid far too much for my new Tie-Rod end (see HERE) , some of you have done better than me on getting a cheap fitting. However, that has not stopped me writing a guide on how to change it.
Just got the new boots from the Suzuki dealers this afternoon. It its clear now what the problem is, the new ones are to the right of each pair in the pictures. The old ones have certainly swollen through the use of oil (now I wonder if oil works on human body parts in the same way ! )
Some of you may have seen my plea in the forum for help re-fitting the small rubbers onto the sliders on the front brake calipers. I spent nearly 6 hours trying to fit them, if you were watching my webcam experiment last night you would have seen me in the garage trying to get them fitted for the second evening.
