Swift engine distributor will interfere with your firewall most likely. On a Swift the Disto sticks out the side on the transverse mounted engine. but will go into your firewall when you put it longships.
The coil on plug models will fit easier but more electronics to sort out.
The Vitara with a disto will fit just fine as they are the same as the SJ engine but then you need an adapter for the gearbox and modifications for the oil pickup and engine mounts. (easy for you)
Or you can use your excisting cylinder head with the angled disto on the swift engine.
Also possible to do an aftermarket distoless ignition and blank off the swift disto.
If it is a twin cam Swift GTI the work might be worth it. but if it is a SOHC I would not bother.
G16 Vitara 8valve has an angled disto and a simpler wiring so mostly the mechanical challenges to make it fit.
But a SJ with 100 hp is worth it.
But sweeter running.. I would not know, maybe a 2001-04 m13 jimny and do the total swap, engine, wiring, dash cluster, gearbox everything.

It’s a DOHC GTI motor, feels like the sort of thing that could have been factory in a kinda ‘stock plus’ approach.
The 8600rpm red line and 100bhp have some appeal as well
