well in my 17years of working on cars a stuck brake does as i say but if its realy jamed then yer it wouldnt work
so if a piston is stuck fast with rust on the pad side of the piston what stops it moving out NOTHING what stops it moving in is the rust thus the brake is clamping the pads more than the other free piston the othe side so the stuck caliper comes on first as it has got the pads clamped slightly thus pulling on the stuck side first

so hoow would you move a stuck piston either pump it out with the brake pedel or if in a work shop some times use an air line blower

If after checking both pistons and calipers and sliding pins, changing fluid and checking disks and pads, you still have an issue, consider changing the flexible brake pipes. I had a very bad pull when braking, changed/checked everything and it was all okay, changed the flexible brake pipe and it was fixed. Weird thing was the pipe looked absolutely fine, it must have perished inside.

Ive just finished, it was 1 of the sliders on the passanger side, it wouldnt move at all, i had to use a hammer and a little metal bar to get it out, then cleaned and greased an now its fine. Thanks everyone
