On mine i removed the carpets, and after some careful measuring I cut a hole through the side of the gearbox tunnel and then fitted a rubber plug. It makes changing the oil much easier.

The bigger holesaw was just used to cut through the sound-deadening material, so that it could be scraped off -

I then made a "lid" for it... (Using the same two hole-saws)
