Full tank = full can, half a tank = half a can, seems right to me- it will be the same concentration
I probably didn't believe strongly enough, or I don't have a problem with clogged injectors, and as Rhinoman says it is a design feature. Maybe I'm just hypersensitive to the odd vibration, I feel it, there is nothing to hear.
I'll see how it goes now, there is 100 miles of treated fuel left to clean something out.

if the problem was a clogged injector then you would have real problems under load - you need very little fuel at idle.

Hi
You may just disconnect the big black air intake hose above the throttle body. When the engine is warm, spray good amount of foam cleaner onto the throttle plate, both front and back, as well as into the small hole (located on the inner wall close to the throttle plate). This small hole allows you to reach into the IAC and lube it without taking it apart. Let it sit for 5min and then take a 30min drive. You will notice the difference. Just a 15min work. Don’t have to take it to the mechanic for replacement of other parts that are working but considered relevant to this issue. Good luck!

Mine wobbles on idle using 95 but doesn't using 97 petrol. My plugs and valvles are all spot on so I believe its fuel. Don't think our jap friends even have 95 at the pumps??

I bought BG 44K® on eBay and I put it to full tank on my gas station. It worked. But when my tank was empty I refilled my Jimny to full and the issue came back again. Does anyone has a real fix for this engine problem?

I bought some BG44K because our Jimny had the same issue. Almost instant results! Now idle is steady and quiet.

Guys... I started a thread a while back as I had a similar situation, but the small differences were that the hiccups were limited to cold weather, dissapeared when the engine was warm, and often caused the EML to come on. This is what I did:
Ran 2 tanks of STP cleaner through the system
Result: hiccups less, but not gone.
Replaced the ignition leads and coils with EXPENSIVE ones.
Replaced sparkplugs with normal ones
Result: even worse.
Solution: aggressively cleaned out the white grease that I found inside the leads and coils
Result: Hefty hiccups gone, back to slight hiccups
Sent vehicle in for testing when cold
Result: slight misfiring detected (my ebay engine management detector did not find this)
Ran 2 full tanks of fuel with STP fuel system cleaner doing long runs to quickly (!) deplete the tank
Result: hiccups gone for a while then returned
Cleaned the ignition leads and coils again (found slight traces of grease that I swore I had removed)
Sent the vehicle in to have the engine flushed with some form of carbon remover.
OMG what a difference... the vehicle runs like there is syrup powering it. I actually cannot believe the difference.
So what worked?.. I believe it was a combination of everything I did. Anyway, I have been away for 3 weeks so hopefully it is still as smooth as silk when I return to the UK. (It has 150k miles on the clock, 2008 Gen 3)

why STP and not BG44K - very technical and scientific reason for that...... when I was around 16 I had STP stickers on my skateboard and thought they were super cool.. so advertising works I guess (I am now the wrong side of 65 and would break my neck if I tried to skateboard)
