Not at all.
But often people get suspension all wrong and look at springs when they should look at shocks and vice versa.
Also for some reason a number of forum users want as soft shocks as possible which makes no sense for offroading.
Suspension talk is science, and I'm no expert. Just trying to get an understanding of how it works as I'm looking for some good shocks for my own Jimny, probably either Bilstein or Fox

If you want soft and comfort ride; go with the trailmaster comfort springs and shocks. Little more € to spend, but they are worth it.
I spend my money first on cheap shock, and then i pay good shocks, so dont buy es 1000 shocks, they are pretty stiff.

How much softer is the comfort kit compared to the jimnys standard suspension? Is there much difference between the comfort and sport trailmaster setup?
The pro comps are designed for a heavier US truck whereas the trailmaster are designed for the jimny.

i'm running a full 3" lift with rear shock relocators. the shocks are shafted. new pair on order and here soonJimny J wrote: With regards to the rear pogo effect, are you running a full 2in lift kit with shocks and springs? Or spring spacers with the standard shocks? Only ask as I have spacers and standard shocks and I found the shock relocation brackets completely cured the bounce.
