Black Toy wrote: I've been using front shock spacers for quite some time and realized they get loose easily. This can cause what you guys are complaining at (had experienced myself). Solution was to use a chemical lock (Loctite) on the shocker top bolts (pinions) to avoid any play down there. Watch out for corrected bump stops as well.

Also, if it's Bits4Vits, just throw that crappy orange bushes away and replace them for a nice quality ones, like SuperPro. And try to keep the standard washers as the ones that are provided are flat and do not "hug" the top bushes properly! You just gonna have to open up the center a little cause the bolt (pinion) of the shock spacer is thicker than the one from the shock itself.

cheers

Thanks! Comments taken on board, and I've reconfigured the front shock spacers -

I can send out new bushes and cupped washers to anyone that's had a set of these too ;)

Thanks and regards,

Hi Dave!

Just forgot to say that your 1.5" is quite a catch. Enough proof is that i'm still using it along with my new suspension. Works great, and its a unique solution, including the hexagonal base, where you can easily tighten the front suspension. I'm really new to offroading (nearly one year) and very very far from being an expert.

Have shopped with you a few times and I can assure to anyone that is one of the best service around!

cheers

Well, changed the top bushes after Dave kindly sent them FOC .

Hasn't made a bit of difference, front end still crashes over speed bumps !!!

Mine was really hard riding until i put the extensions on.

Check everything, all bolts are bushes are tight and in good condition, tyre pressures too. The nature of the car is quite a short "crashy" ride, mainly due to the short wheelbase.

Here's something to add. I've just put my standard steels back on and find it rides far better, i was running offsets and 195/15's before. It rolls in the corners of course due to having a narrower track again but its not as harsh, which is odd considering there was more rubber to absorb bumps too. I can only assume its to do with unsprung weight?
