Spring spacers ?? was created by Gromit
Ok so I"ve gone for the cheap option of fitting 2" spring spacers and shocker extenders instead of a proper lift kit but it seems to have made the front end very harsh over things like speed humps, so much so that it feels like the axle is loose !!!. Has anyone else experienced this ??

I've got 1.5 spacers and it is a bit more crashy at the front but not too bad.
Did you fit shock spacers at the front too? I didn't but I hear it makes a fair bit of difference.

I had the spaces that goatboy is using now on my jimny, and had the same trouble if you hit the speed hump head on, had to try hitting the hump one front wheel at a time by changing the approach angle.

I've been using front shock spacers for quite some time and realized they get loose easily. This can cause what you guys are complaining at (had experienced myself). Solution was to use a chemical lock (Loctite) on the shocker top bolts (pinions) to avoid any play down there. Watch out for corrected bump stops as well.
If it's Bits4Vits, i'd recommend replace bushes or keep original. Also try to keep the standard washers as the ones that are provided are flat and do not "hug" the top bushes properly! You just gonna have to open up the center a little cause the bolt (pinion) of the shock spacer is thicker than the one from the shock itself.
cheers

ive got 2" blocks aswell
but still standard shocks
if any thing i think the rear end is stiffer, if over a speed bump, the front goes over confy
but the rear bounces over and its noisy
