Are you sure there's only one coolant temp sensor? In many cars there's one sensor for fan, and another sensor that sends temperature signal to ecu. I have hard time believing that the fan would be operated by the ecu...:dry:

But on the other hand, I've been mainly working with older cars and trucks, so there might be something in newer cars for me to learn.:whistle:

Hi,

Have you had the gas checked in te air con system? There is a pressure switch inline, it monitors the a/c pressure. If there is no gas or low pressure detected the air con will not work.

Steve it was the first thing i done....check the a/c pressure and it was fine.....also change the pressure-static switch with a new one in any case.

How did you check the pressure ??

Have you checked feeds @ the compressor ??

I'm 100% sure this problem is caused by the non-functioning fan. The a/c system needs the fan in order to work, so when you get the fan working again, your a/c problem is solved.;)
