Yours should drop down onto the Diff in the centre of the axle if they are routed normally, this makes for a shorter "flex" in the system.

Very early Jimnys drop them onto the Leading arms.

i don't see why either the silicone or copper or a mix of the two wouldn't work, only advice I'd give is don't fix them to the leading arm with tywraps try to keep the screw fixing. One of mine had broken and i put a tywrap round it but it got broken on the first outing.
cheers,
John

I used 4mm or 3/16 which ever that they use for some lorry air brakes worked a treat and i re routed it so i dint have to tirap it to the leading arm as both my bols were snapped off in the hole long ago. works a treat never had any problems since.

like john said earlier on in this post tiraps to the leading arm are not the way forward.

Hi Guys B)

What do you think about vaccum silicone hose?
www.auto-performance.co.uk/product_info....9_91&products_id=568

Is it good for the replacement of the "HOSE, SPINDLE VACUUM 4WD" ?

Do you use 3mm hose ?

Thanks for your help B)

Jo King's 'upgrade' has been 100% reliable for me.
