Replaced the pipes on the new Black Jimny with copper pipe but I have an advantage, I'm a gas fitter and I have a pipe flaring/swaging kit and soldering gear :-)

Mine is the same year and has them, they all left the factory with them for the UK Market (worked at Suzuki main dealer for 3 year) yours must have had them changed at some point or is one of the many Spanish built odd balls driving around .

What a difference fixing the solenoids has made, the hubs are very quick to engage and disengage.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Good work getting it sorted!
What exactly did you do to the solenoids to get them working?
My system seems to be a bit tempramental (spelling?) so I want to give it an overhaul before it gets too cold.
That or throw it in the bin...

I did exactly what facade suggested in an earlier post #23278 with a little gentle tapping from a small hammer and some WD40. I used a 12v battery from our house alarm on the kitchen table to get it going. The lock solenoid VSV2 was fine it was VSV1 the unlock solenoid that gave me problems.
