Compression for G13BB engine

I would have thought that a better way to gain more power to turn 31" wheels was to alter the current power delivery by re-gearing the car?

The 1300 engine is reasonably capable, its just that the transfer box is not low enough meaning that a lot of clutch slipping will be required to get it moving in some situations.

If you are going to increase the power without changing any gearing I would investigate what can be done with the clutch to stop it smoking itself and also be prepared to change chains in the transfer box as too much power could cause it to slip and strip itself.

I know i can re-gear it but for now i am thinking to power increase it,should be somewhere between 15-30hp,is that extra power needed so many times,i am used to big engines and powerfull acceleration, this one is a little bit slower, and costs me precious seconds when competing.
I have the turbo, the fuel pressure regulator, the boost regulator, afr, boost gauges, intercooler and other small bits from an older project that have never been finished and why sell them, when i can power-up little jimny? I know it`s easyer and less complicated with re-gearing it but i`m not afraid of breaking it,i`m sure the transmission will do just fine with this quite small power increse...will see what`s going to happen...
