About to answer my own question, but the Iron Gates bypass box is 50 Euro, plus 9 Euro shipping and that will fool the system even when using low pressure, so that might be the way to go?
I know at least one member has one of these.

When I bought my winter use wheels /tyres, they were fitted with standard valves i.e. non sensor and I was given a device to counter the TPMS signal. This box of tricks is marketed by
www.spooftpms.com
. I fitted it in the boot and it worked. Nuff said.
I subsequently fitted proper sensors and removed the spoof device. This was for personal reasons. The device "did what it said on the box".

Thanks Roger,
Spooftpms.com is the Iron Gates device I have been looking at for 50 Euro.
You don’t want to sell it do you?

Sorry Doc, I must answer no. This unit is my plan B, plan A being the sensors, so if one fails, I just re-install the spoof unit and that gives me time to consider my options.
