Hi all!
I have been having issues with my jimny. i had an overheating issue, fixed by replacing radiator and thermostat(dont know which was the problem but replacing both fixed it) it only overheated once before i went to fix it but it seems to have done a bit of damaged. one of my ignition coils was burnt so i replaced that but i have an error code, P0121, throttle position sensor, to try fix this i replaced the sensor, cleaned the throttle body and put a new throttle body gasket on. this hasnt resolved the issue at all. it still is extremely underpowered at high revs(not revving over 3500 when im on the motorway) and not being able to accerate past 85kph (50mph). i back probed the sensor when it was plugged in and seems to climb normally. but when its plugged out the sensor wire has 2 volts, this should be 0? the live wire has around 5 volts and the ground has 0. ive had the TPS unplugged for a while but i know this is only a temporary fix, i plugged it back in today and its gone into limp mode. its an m13A engine on a 2008 jimny.
