Glad you've made your decision. And have the rational on what you want and why you have picked it.
Would offer to help fit if I was closer, but I'm in Buckinghamshire, so quite a long way away.
Might be worth speaking with the tyre seller and finding the height or asking if they will measure the 195 Special Tracks. Many remoulds are massively bigger than their stated specs.
And while I say I'd do it differently if I was doing it again. Or wasn't using the Jimny as a daily driver. I would say a 2" lift and 28.9" tall tyres have massively improved it over stock, on most of the terrain I play about on, it now no longer catches the underside like it used too. And I feel far less concerned about it sitting on the diffs.
I think you'll enjoy the enhancements you get with the lift and some taller tyres.

Thanks for the offer to help install, Buckinghamshire is indeed a long way. Thanks also to Lambert, unfortunately I am away this weekend (on another trek) and have something on most weekends for a little while. I will probably tackle the job mid week.
I might split it in two, do the hydraulics first, then change the springs/dampers, that will reduce the time grovelling under the car in one go.

I'm sure the 195 80 15 retreads I had
Where 705mm tall
The special tracks maybe taller
Happy you've come to a decision
