Im not putting a roof tent on mine I'm going for an awning with the sides from that Tuff Trek website you kindly sent me
I already have some decent camp beds that will fit inside for my girlfriend and I

I would recommend a complete room rather then just the sides... its hard to get a complete seal around the side of the Jimny and even after that you will get a draft from under the car

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI agree with JJ
I have had to order a room for the same reason, I have some friends meeting up with us and they plan to use the awning room (good luck to them)
One thing you must must must remember, it is an awning room and not a tent. I made the huge mistake of setting mine up and it poured it down for hours and the whole awning roof became a paddling pool which started to bend the horizontal arms.
It prompted me to buy one of these
I placed a tennis ball over the end of the pole to protect the awning and it sits in the middle of the awning pushing up to make a peak which makes the rain run off instead of collecting. this is not a problem on a £900 Hannibal awning but on cheaper ones it is

Could you not of just angled the awning down slightly to make the water run off from?
