Look out for little breathers like these
I found them in my local auto store labelled as oil breathers, I believe there meant to be for an air compressor but work a treat and screw straight into end of hose.

If your running a snorkel end the breathers at the top of your snorkel, all mine go into 1 pipe which runs upto the top of my snorkel ending in a hook shape so no water can get in.
