hi guys thanks for you kind comments you hade made
some time ago i purchased a diesel one from france and have run it for 18months on and off road as my shooting truck
these trucks as you know make perfect pick ups , but as you can see i have some sort of OCD and strive for perfection in all my work and this the end result of that ,
i am very proud to own both of these, in both petrol and diesel options
the grey one also has the same canopy yet to be fitted
regards
the doc

Took it to the MOT and got it back with one advisory on the license plate bulb. Stupid to forget to check before the MOT but it got very late last night.
And then a fault on the kingpin or wheel bearing that must be fixed before it gets approved.
all in all not so bad considering.
Before the MOT i swapped/ did/ fixed:
new brake rotors
new pads and shoes
swapped transfer case to the non-leaky version
legal wheels from the SJ
welded three holes in the body mounts and three in the chassi body mount brackets.
removed non approvable parking lights
tidied up wiring loom for stereo and extra battery
Silicon spray on the seat belt so it returns ok for a day.
changed fog light bulb
got the rear seat back in
removed trailer hitch covering the license plate
and probably more I forgot.
much needed service all this so cant complain about the need for an MOT.

Change the bulb and shimmed up the bottom kingpin bearing with my excellent shim kit bought here on the bigjimny store.
Spent almost an hour looking for it in my chaos garage but found lots other stuff I barely knew I had
