This soundproofing is not cheap, is it? I've considered it before and may well do in the future, given you are pleased with it.

Which stuff did you use, please?

Not particularly cheap, but cheap if you consider the size of the Jimny I suppose...? (Edit: I should mention the only reason I opted to get it now was because I put my saved fuel money from the lockdown towards it)

Here's the link: www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/stinger-roadkill...dening-material.html

Yes I am very happy with it so far (given the 20 mins of driving I have been able to do) - it's quality stuff and has a good weight to it (probably about 10kg per box).

Try uploading the photos to this website: postimages.org/

And then copy the 'hotlinks for forums' URL it generates and paste it in - seems to work nicely.

Wanted some lockable storage space in the back, so decided to put a drawer under the SWMBO's crate...

Cheers Daniel ! I've just finished the base and the fixing points on the floor.
The base is sitting in the Sun drying off a coat of varnish and then, I will give it a coat of Matt Black. I need to order some slides then I can make the drawer!

Spent a few hours using rivnuts and painting interior panels. I can now bolt in my panels rather than using the crappy plastic clips which keep snapping.

Rivnut in rear door sill:

Rear door sill cover (primed, painted) bolted in:

Passenger side footwell speaker plastic trim sprayed and now attached with bolt. Also sound deadening material inside speaker housing.

Interiors coming together. Just the door sills and drivers footwell plastic to fit then its back to normal in the front.

Today I bought a load liner and a wind deflector.

In the process of turning the Jimny into a micro-camper for post lockdown.

I'm in the market for a roof rack but they're so so expensive!

Load liner with the "Jimny" logo.... Class !!!!
If its got a "Jimny" logo.... I want it

Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.
