I started to make some space in the back of the Jim ready for the weekend. Got to get in my camping gear, 2 lots of archery kit and knife throwing stuff plus all the targets etc. Its going to be tight.

Fitted some ZookBob HD bushes for the RW rocklobster box (Big thanks Dave!). Much better now thanks...

Finally a new drivebelt to bypass the A/C compressor which has failed. 4PK850 for reference if anyone else needs to bypass it

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Took the heater motor out as it has been ticking and driving me nuts.
Dead easy, if I were 10 years younger it would literally have been a 10 minute job rather than the hour it took as I can't wriggle about under the dash any more.
"Remove steering column hole cover" actually means take the plate off the bottom of the dash :whistle: I thought it was a poor translation of "Remove whole steering column" :laugh:
Just 3 screws, that are 8mm AF hex, torx hole and slit for a flat screwdriver blade.
I couldn't feel any bits of tree in the heater, maybe they dropped down into the outlets when I took it out. So I oiled the end bearing, and put it back. Seems quiet at the moment.....
