Very nice indeed, Hal, but it doesn't make that crappy black wheel look any better

Need to carry tool boxes about and as the Jimny is my only motor I sorted out the back today! Removed part of the rear seat and boxed an area for tools etc. Wooden floor lifts out if I want to reinstall the back seat!

Mot passed - No advisories - woo hoo.

Tester did say he spent some time looking for the 'clonk' in the front suspension, then found the shackles hanging in the front chassis legs as recovery points.

A sad day but after briefly owning two Jimnys over a year ago, we held onto the black one. It's been brilliant, trouble free and a lot of fun.
Recently my wife said she wanted a vehicle to tow a horse box and I could do with one so I can get my Montesa and it's carry rack on a towbar, unfortunately the Jimny can do neither :(
So after a deep valet it got sold yesterday and today she's on the dark side and the owner of a 53 plate Freelander Td4.
It's okay but it's like a tank to drive and I reckon will cost a lot more in maintenance.
She's happy, I'm skint and a horse box is the topic of conversation now !
