Booked it in for an mot tomorrow. Now know how people feel as it is the 1st time in 40 years i have not mot tested my own vehicle and had to trust it to someone else !! :S :S

Unwrapped my new rear box & link pipe, de-stickered them, then offered them up to double check they are the right bits. Two differing fittings for the 2005 pre-vvt apparently. Mine is fitted with the Suzuki oem inline flange rear box when it should be the 90*type flange, according to the 'experts'. However after much help from Japanese 4x4 Spares ltd, I have received the correct pairing complete with gaskets. Lovely :P Now I can cut the rusty old one with the rattly heatshield off,....& paint the underfloor :S

I hate MoTs..........worse than the dentist and I loathe dentistry. :angry:

Because i am currently unemployed / on sick so hoping it will pass as will be unable to repair it myself :unsure:

The brake balancer created endless problems on mine. :sick: I'd be a little apprehensive if I had an advisory for that. :blink:

don't think it means anything on a 2007 ABS
always thought it was non-ABS issue only ? :unsure:

Could be................in my case it prevented the rear brakes from applying enough pressure..

Wheels sticking out from the arches is only an mot advisory but the police can do you for it under construction and use / road traffic act regulations :(

If the actual tread is covered it's OK but some of the new regs allow only certain clearances above the wheel in the arch. :whistle: :whistle:
