Got rad and belts off ready for the new ones to arrive, hopefully today so I can get it all sorted by this evening.

However the rad has seen better days I think, so will wait for the next pay day and treat myself to a new one :P

Hmm may have to get a few OS Landranger maps for around here then. I know some of the Alton area from blatting around on my VFR, but that is only on nice tarmac roads ;)

Had a peek at the wetroads site and that looks interesting :)

theres a really good one on there near alton cant rememeber want its called on there but just below alton on the google maps link on there if you click on it you can zoom in on you area. im yet to find one like this for byways surely there should be one, just looked on wetroads around you most are ristricted but if you go on the map bit you can see normal byways too marked with crossed red/pink lines

This is a site I use a lot. Has got links to videos on YouTube for most of the lanes. You can select the county from the menu at the top; seems like Hampshire has a lot of lanes.

In fact, do you even need it, other than stopping you from chopping your hands to pieces :woohoo:

What I have done is chop the top 30% off the shroud and kept it. The rest I binned. It now serves to protect from the fanblades and has a little bit of shroud for sucking air to the fan. I can access the alternator bracket for adjustment and such like really easily and if I want more access I undo just two bolts and it is off. ;)
