Found some great lanes, made it half way do own violets lane aswell but bottled it as the light was fading and the water had hit the windscreen enough times already :laugh:

So do the brackets reduce the load the shocks pot onto the chassis bracket? That was my understanding but I was not !00% sure I understand the purpose of them.

the relocation brackets reduce the stress on the mount big time allowing the shock to move in a more suitable plane ( the bottom of the shock is turned 90 degrees with the brackets
with a lifted jim in particular the springs touch the shocks without the bracket. a good dose of off road and somethings gonna break.
as standard the shock is positioned at an angle on the bottom mounting bolt. excess axle articulation usually results in broken bolts but all the pressure will stress the mounts too.
i'd recommend for any off road jimny

You found violets lane ok then? We did warn you it can be deep lol.
My old mans LR is gettin a new gearbox so when thats sorted im sure we'll go for a days laning will let you know.

Yes they will fit unless they are over wide.
I have used SJ rims on my Jimny.
Lots of Vitrara + SJ rims get swapped over.

Yeh it was a great laugh, would have liked to have had a few more diesels there to get me out if needs be but tbh I reckon I could of made it, just stayed on the side of caution.
