Kept pushing on with this winch plate,

Plates now cut to fit, shims made up popping into work later to use the pillar dril, and hopefully for tomorrow, I'll finish this winch plate and get this winch fitted!

Next job bucket seats hopefully have the adapter plates drilled tomorrow

Nah I decided by the time I got a reply and anything done about it could be adapted to fit, so I've just pushed on with it, no problem also I'm not slating Ora here, just added a bit more work to my plate than I expected before I started but overall I'm happy

Currently having a break from trying to get the gearbox back on. The bugger just won't go and my arms are burning.

And it's bloody freezing under the J today with the wind making it worse :'(

I did say leave the clutch bolts loose just enough for the plate to move

Well done mate, I spent 3 hours undoing the bellhousing bolts, taking exhaust off, removing propshaft ect. and struggled like hell to do 2 bolts on bellhousing. lying on your back in the rain and cold is not good is it! so I lost my rag and rung the local garage, they collected car and towed it round to the workshop, and 3 hours later they had done the job.....and charged me £50.......best £50 I have ever spent!!!!!!
