Looking very excellent indeed and really can see the inspiration.

I forgot to say (on facebook as well) that the buggy is the b@st&rd child of the two inspirational vehicles above, and the Jimny donor, but also condisering:
1) It has to cope with the British weather so the windscreen and front soft-top sections were retained (and a stout jacket ordered!)
2) It has to be able to wade streams and rivers, so the half doors and wading wall were necessary
3) It still has to be identifiable as being based on a Jimny for MOT, insurance and Police (legal) reasons... and keep DVLA and VOSA happy!

Great one off Facebook (with many thanks to 'old' friend John Richardson - he used to write for 4x4 Mart back in the day and wrote the "How to modify your Suzuki 4x4" book)

I liked the look of the seats and emailed the dealer but unfortunately none of the seats have the facility to take seat belt mountings. I would like to change the standard Gen.4 seats as they have poor support. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions
Cheers

Looks phenomenal Dave, really really nice work.
I'd love something like that (and do want to one day build an Ecoboost powered Jimny, but I won't start unless I've got a clear pathway to the finish), but life consistently gets in the way, you've managed to find a groove which works for you and built a brilliant machine in the process. Well done mate.
Paul.
