Yes just seen the better relays, Ive ordered some resistors from amazon instead however... will see how they go
www.amazon.co.uk/Bulbs-Resistor-Signal-E...a-634680888943&psc=1
it is only the rear that is LED lamps so this gives me some spares as well

Them resistors will do just fine Riccy
If you can fit them to flat steel to transfer heat out of them
you could go as far as applying heatsink compound but probably not needed

Fitted the relays and they were making no difference, so read up a bit and realized I had wired them wrong, so need to look at that tomorrow.
Today however the windscreen man turned up to sort the cracked and chipped one in Ulysses. With the body shape flexing and changing slightly the screen had taken a turn for the worse. This guy, Martin, was recomended by the garage landlord so gave him a call. Quoted £110 fitted so ordered up on monday, fitted today. Great service and really good price as well.

Compressor wiring and a few other odd jobs today including insuring and booking MOT. Insurance starts Monday and MOT on Wednesday. Plenty little jobs to do first.
Got the resistors fitted first for the back lights and thats solved the problem well. Next onto the compressor and switches. Had a fight getting this large plug for the switch wiring through the firewall so took it apart and went in easy.
Wires ran back to where the screenwash bottle used to be and connected up to the compressor. Bit of head scratching as to which wire was for what, but figured it out with the help of good old google
Then made a small plate to cover the area below the ash tray for the switches. works ok, but doesnt look the best. Needs Raptor painted! test run and its working ok, except the switch for the compressor is operating the other way up to the others so need to swap that around tomorrow. Compressor is a much older model than the one in J999MNY, but works fine. Is a lot more noisy tho...
Finally put the panel on below the windscreen and all the wipers back. looking nearer to finished now. The black pipe near the snorkel is for the diff/gbox/tbox breathers and loops back into the snorkel head. Need to fix it back somehow.
