Nice job!

Not sure I'd want the back window though, means I don't have to look at the Audi sitting on my arse!

Thanks Ollie ;)

Did a bit more today...

Drilled through the hardtop and the tinted perspex window underneath, can't attach it yet though as the local fastenings company are closed as it's a Bank Holiday... And I needed more stainless bolts, washers and nylocs, as I've drilled for mounts every 4"

Bravely measured, re-measured and then drilled the top for the brackets...

And then painted around the cut edge of the window hole ready for fixing the tinted perspex in... you can just about see a bolt head there where the rubber strap attaches underbeath -

Which holds the back of the hardtop down... Nearly done!

Oooh, and I also copied "GustheGorilla" and cut an aperture so that the rear door can open with the hood left in place -

THANKS for the idea Gus' (Chris) ;)

Missed a photo out...

I was out just a couple of milimetres when I drilled the top bracket mounting holes! :S

So I slotted the soft-top brackets a little -

Phew! Better than redrilling the fastback! ;)

It's a shame I can't make the mould where the top brackets go and fit here but I used to do that and had a couple that was exactly right must move slightly jimny to jimny. They are a bit of a pain

s'alright, I got them in the right place front-to-back by referencing your photos, and marking with the hood in place, but slightly missed the left-to-right and got them just milimetres too close inwards, so the easiest thing to do was file the original soft-top clips in the vice to reposition them a tad...

Almost there! Just the 'window' to fit :)

Thanks Sam! Ace product! A neighbour stuck his head in the garage today and was remarking how perfect the gel coat was... especially in black, like a mirror finish and no ripples he was enthusing...! B)

And looks a little different too!

Looking forward to seeing if we actually get a summer this year! Then it will be four quick un-clips and leave the hardtop section in the garage, front soft-top back, windows down and go for a drive! B)

Just a idea Is there anyway you could use the bit you cut off the bottom and bolt it to the door so when it's closed it looks complete if that makes sence mite need a bit of a trim down
