wouldn't it be easier & more reliable to fit manual hubs over the vacuum jobs (is that what you're talking about) ??

Just asking the question :blush: but why would you want 2wd Low? Why would you not just use 4wd low?

usually for areas where you require low speed (so perhaps somewhere with tight turns or steep gradients) but have good grip (and so if using 4 Low you would wind up the transmission).
I used to use 2L on the second vitara in traffic jams, as it had manual locking hubs, so I could crawl along saving the clutch without winding the transmission up.

but its not for the VVT, the wiring is different on the newer electric switch AWD selection.
will need to find the 4wd connector on the transfer box and see what colour wires go into it. Or look at all the vacuum hub control stuff near the battery and see if any of the wires near the handbrake match the wires there.
I fancied it for traffic jams - or should that be Jim-Jams :dry:
