Thanks Tadpole
After reading Martins writeup again, and Gaz's comment, I think I might also clamp an 8mm prop onto the diff flange with mole-grips and drill a set of 8mm holes between each of the 10mm holes, so I've got a universal diff flange
Dave
That's what I did. Works fine

Might have one more prop I can use then... that's tomorrows job, although I'm supposed to be working on finishing the back garden, so Mum's the word

It was either that or wait another week to get hands on a prop shaft that would fit
So I got impatient and just drilled the flanges

Just given mine a good check over before 'laning trip on Sunday...
Prop replaced and slider greased
Spare placed in the back of the Jimny
Bump stop rubber cone missing off OSR, so nicked one off the EX-Jimny buggy for now
Brake clip missing off rear axle, so again nicked one off the 'other Jimny' for now
Front mounts on the axle to radius arms on the rear slightly loose on both sides
NSF tyre pressure a little low, might be that that was giving the Jim a little wobble last time out?
Took a little bit of engine oil for once
Washer bottle topped up
Radiator checked
All other nuts and bolts checked
Winches tested
Ready for another great 'laning trip then? :woohoo:

It's a three hour drive for me (and Alan) there and back. so I thought I'd better get my prop sorted, and the little trucklet checked underneath before such a big journey...
Expect another one of those blogs soon then

Ooo Goody! Whenever I read your blogs it makes me want to go Laning! I don't go often enough to the point where I barely go these days, which is a shame as there's no real excuse!
