MX5, I am hoping to get some work done on it when the weather gets better, this particular one is getting stripped back to stock and sold if it can get through an MOT, failing that I am breaking it. Far too much rust in the chassis. Love it as a car though, perfect summer toy.

I've owned two in the last eleven years and the current second one i've had for almost nine years and that is a garage queen, it has only seen rain 5 or 6 times in my ownership.
In fact it has only been out of the garage once in nearly seven months.

Yeah, I need a garage really. I'm considering going for a NA next and fixing it up real nice. The NB2 is my favourite model but the NAs are really beginning to appreciate and I think I'd actually make my money back on one if I where to fix it up.

Another little job done. Popped a sidelight bulb last week, so man maths dictated that I needed a new set of Osram Nightbreaker Lasers, and a fresh set of heat colour matching LED sidelight bulbs to go with them. Crap pictures during the day, but you can see the different in light temperature, and a fairly large difference in brightness.

Jimny getting abused.
Mum is doing some landscaping, went to pick up some supplies for her.
~200kg of bark
80kg of sand
~20kg of other junk
2 passengers (~70kg each?)
So yeah, ~450kg, rear suspension was clunking away all the way home, was also terrified to brake.
In other news I fired up the MX5 today with a jump from the Jimny do some work on it and it set on fire, the alternator appears to be completely bollocksed.

New (to me) wheels came today, picked up from Thorntons 4x4/CAM Suzuki for ~£20/wheel delivered. Must say they arrived soon enough, so don't have any of the complaints I've heard others say about that company and its shipping service(s).
Just need to refurb them a bit, going to take the tyres off and dispose of them, grind down the fronts & paint, will likely just use a rust converter/encapsulator on the rear as I am not fussed about the finish there. There going to be gloss black wrapped in GG AT3s when I am done with them.
Also had the windows done last week, 5% on the back three, so now I look like the worlds ruralist drug dealer.

Wheels and tyres done. They came up great in Hammerite smooth black after I had taken the dremal to all the rusty bits. The GG AT3s in 205/75r15 really fill the arches so much better than those little bridgestones ever did. Difference in grip is almost immediately noticable.
Next job is more boring, kingpin bearings, swivel seals and a big service. Front diff is pissing oil out of both swivel seals and the 4wd system doesn't work at all at this point so the new bearings are becoming rather urgent. .
