Thought I'd start a thread on my new toy to record it's evolution, I've only had it a couple of months so it's only really evolved to the extent of some 195s and a 2" suspension lift but I've done other minor bits. I fancied a change after a run of 14 Landrovers and as I'd had a couple of SJs in the past I thought a Jimny would be the way to go. It will need more power at some point but overall I'm very impressed at what it will cope with!
Anyway this is what I bought..
This is as far as I've got..
I'd like bigger wheels but I'm undecided how to go about it, binning the plastics and fitting defender arches is favourite atm but I haven't seen any replacement bumpers I like yet so we'll see.
Happy new year everyone and cheers to Martin for sorting my upload issue!

Cheers! Yeh the lights are cheap as chips off eBay (361419077396) but work well off road, strong and give a good bright white flood. The housings are heavy so you'll need a plate under if you're mounting on plastic.mark98 wrote: Looking good that, looks like you've put it to good use so far! Where did you get the circular spot lights from, I like the look of them

Well they're not KC Daylighters but then they're only drawing a fraction of the current and cost so little they're pretty much disposable. I'm happy with them because I prefer the white light but I only use them off road with the roof ones for a flood effect, I'd probably go with halogen for driving lights on the road.mmao-pt wrote: nice toy

Then me and my lad(13) went and found some mega-puddles to play in, so once I'd broken the ice and established a safe route..
..he was allowed a few runs through the water before some proper driving lessons.
We both had a great day and got lots of GoPro footage including his very first bow wave!
