The only grease I use on my sliders is red rubber grease, and copper grease on the back of the pads.
Lithium grease will attack rubber.

Gromit wrote: The sliders as people call them are the brake caliper pistons that seize in the caliper mounting causing the brake on that wheel work poorly which makes the other brake pull the car to that side.
Example - Seized caliper piston on right front wheel will make the car pull to the left !
Seized caliper piston on right front wheel will make the car pull to the right as the brake wont relise and make it come on before the other/left brake because the brake pressure is higher than the relise pressure so the piston comes out but wont get pushed back in
No mate, under braking conditions the seized caliper will not work and the good brake works and pulls the car to that side - brake steering !!!!

so if a piston is stuck fast with rust on the pad side of the piston what stops it moving out NOTHING what stops it moving in is the rust thus the brake is clamping the pads more than the other free piston the othe side so the stuck caliper comes on first as it has got the pads clamped slightly thus pulling on the stuck side first
so hoow would you move a stuck piston either pump it out with the brake pedel or if in a work shop some times use an air line blower
