Hello, guys, hope you're all well.

I need to replace my rear prop. The only reap prop I can find online for a 3rd Gen is 27103-84A00 but it seems to be labeled everywhere as compatible with 98-02 cars. I can't find any other part for later vehicles. I'm guessing that this is probably the part I need, but they're expensive so I need to get it right. I thought someone here might know if all third gens use the same rear prop?

Thanks.

Edit: Someone on FB told me the VVT takes a different rear prop. If anyone knows the part number, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks a lot, mate. Unfortunately the same guys are selling them for three or four times that now. Still cheaper than new I suppose.

27103-84A00 is listed by Suzuki as the part from 2005 to at least 2009

Prior to that the number is different.

This would tie up with the versions. G13 engine ran from 1998 to 2001, M13 engine ran from 2001-2005 and the M13-VVT engine ran from 2005 onwards.
There is a website with some dimensions of prop shafts on it and they do seem to vary by around a cm or two. However there is quite a lot of scope within the sliding spine of the shaft.

The propshaft that does need more careful attention is the intermediate prop shaft as this sits between the gearbox and the transfer box and both these boxes were changed in 2005.

Given that part number you have is listed for 2005- 2009 - it looks good to me
