Hello! I have a 2013 Jimny JLX JB43. According to the technical sheet I found online, it should have ABS, but upon checking my Jimny, it doesn't have it. Is it possible to add it myself? Is it very difficult?

Best regards!

If you definitely don't have it then it's going to be easier to find a model with it. You need a pump, pipes, hubs with sensor locations, sensors, wiring and control modules. Not practical to retrospectively install.

The ABS control module also talks to the 4WD module, so it's possible other electronics would need to be changed.  As Lambert says, not practical.  Drive safely!

I understand, I thought it could be easier, like changing the brake pump for one with ABS and installing the sensors.

I will settle for my vehicle and drive more carefully simply, then I will upgrade to a newer model.

Thank you!
