As said above, never use an oil based grease or lubricant near rubber. The rubber absorbs the oils and swells up, in brake calipers this jams the sliders. This include WD40 or 3in1 you may try to lubricate the slider with.

There is a known bug which means you cannot see pictures in some circumstances.
Also I am seeing the quote issue as well, but have no solution at the moment

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Glad you have sorted it, but it wasn't really following the camber in the road if it was a dragging brake, it was veering left.
My bad, I should have asked you to verify it was following the camber by driving on the crown of the road, if not the "wrong side", could have saved us a bit of headscratching.
