Righty to get the motor through its MOT it needed a new rear shocker. PITA but i found a supplier online, checked it was the right one for mine and bought it. Arrived next day:cheer: but its appears to be a front. (Then got sh1t cust service - returns number recieved but when trying to arrange pickup they went quiet.) So is it actually a front shocker as it appears to be by looking at the front of the motor? (my immediate thought)

Yep that's a front one mate, rears have "eye" fastenings at both ends.

As it is "Pin and Loop" then (if its the correct size) then its a Front One, the rears on a Jimny are "Loop and Loop"

Anyone need a front shocker? lol....I'll stick it in the f/sale section then whack it on ebay tomorrow night.

I bought a pair of monroe gas rears from eBay for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£68.99 (I collected them as the supplier was "round the corner") else +Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£10.

(I actually didn't want gas, as all I know about gas shocks is they blow the oil out through the seals, but gas was all I could get)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

I"ve had Procomps on all my motors and they have been great.
