Martin
2003 M13 early KAP build.
3" Trailmaster lift with 1.5 Spacers on front
Customised winch bumper and roll cage
235/85R16 Maxxis Bighorns on 16" Rims, 4:1 Rocklobster, Rear ARB locker and on-board air
Corrected arms all-round, rear disks, Recaro seats and harnesses
I don't have experience of KAP Heavy duty ones but I do have experience of cheap Ebay ones (around £70), these may be ok for light road use but the moment you put any strain on them they quickly destroy themselves
Therefore I would suggest it is worth paying more for the clutch rather than less.

Anyone with expirience on a KAP clutch that can comment on it?

Former owner of Little "Ooky", who has now started a new life in Shetland
I have a KAP Heavy Duty clutch fitted, and all I can say is "WOW" ...
I have the 4 paddle competition clutch and since fitting, ive done some pretty rough offroading and its never once slipped.
The last cheapie clutch I had before, I burnt out in 3 months, but, 12 months later, this one is still going strong, dispite recovering various landrovers and cars thoughout the winter.
The 4 paddle clutch is very vicious though, slipping the clutch is verry difficult, and when driving around town, the bite can catch you out if your not expecting it.
Personally, I love it ... the wife however hates it because there is no lee way .. its Binary .. on or off !!
In my mind though, well worth it
