Timing Belt Change? was created by Bazza Young
Hi All

I've Just bought a 05 vvt Jimny with 44,000 on it. Full service history but no record of the timing belt. Any idea when it needs to be done.

Thanks

Baz

well, yes :-)

The belt you've found is for generator, powersteering etc...

If your engine was with timing belt, it would have been encased in some way. Meaning it wouldn't be visible without tools.
