I think the Vitara boys and girls have used them with good effect for some time.

I'm thinking of using it if i keep my actual lift, but i will most think of something like that:
www.bits4vits.co.uk/store/vitara-/-x90/s...ers-2-/prod_203.html
The problem is they can't adapt on all shocks like the one you found on ebay, but i think it's stronger and safer.
The vitara mostly use that type of brackets ;)

I've got the 2" front shock extension boxes fitted to mine, the ones posted at the top [ebay ones]..

there fine, I've got them fitted with 2" spring spacers too and extended brake lines. all works well.

If you want to see some pictures , look at the ( my jimny ) section . thread called "Jon's jimny"

oh , another thing to consider is,

You need to make the bolt captive.

I mig welded the bolt head to the box section in 2 spots on the inside!

these brackets i was thinking about. After talking with B4vts he told me that these fit only at oem and

old man emu shocks. The other patern '' [ ] '' is being used at my brothers vitara for almost 3 years now

at daily use and 2 off-road competitions and are great, still on position.

Martin do you have any image of the set you are making?
