Nope new one on me, nothing comes up if you Google "car spearheads"
Are they going to cost £1000000 and "don't really need to be done for the MOT but you might be killed if you don't do them now"?

Yeh, I can do them in my shop a lot cheaper than the £1,000,000 above.

I will do them for £10,000 each but be careful, they are very small. When you open the envelope they may fall out and you will not be able to see them ;) This is a no-refund item.

Ok you lot are really helpful :)
I bit the bullet and a sizeable chunk of credit card and sent the car to RRG to be repaired.
I will no doubt post pics of whatever the spearheads turn out to be.
....Or maybe I won't ...and that will teach you for being sarcy :)

 I think I would have got clarification from the garage of what they are repairing and why before I released my credit card.
Do you actually have a problem with your Jimny ?
It is very strange that with all the combined knowledge on here nobody has heard of anything that could be refered to as a spear head.
Are 'RRG' known and trusted by you ?
My thoughts would be that maybe they think the actual king pins are tapered (hence spear heads) and need replacing but I have never heard of them refered to as that.

Anyway hope it works out well and do let us know what they are refering to so when ours need changing we know what needs doing B)

All joking aside, although I suspect you've not heard the last of it yet, when you pick it up and have interrogated them, can you let us know what they were on about?
