Bon Soir,

How easy is it to remove the complete outer drivers wing?

Once marked up for a snorkel, I want to take the wing off to fit the pipe.
The snorkel is one of those 'shorty' ones, it doesn't run along the wing like the 'proper' ones.

Is the wing just bolted on in various places?

Keith :-)

Plenty of wd40 first, those bolts are a bugger for shearing or loosing their threads. I've had to grind/drill and tap out a few of mine.

I only use WD40 for cleaning, it's not very good on some rubber/plastics, it rots it.

I don't know what they call it but I have some penetrating fluid that I brought home from the pit (NCB) years and years ago.
It smells like cat pee but boy it's good stuff.
That or PlusGaz.

Thanks for the tip though. :-)

WD40 is great for cleaning the oven! just make sure its well cleaned out afterwards, chips dont taste too good smoked in wd40. :-)

Have you ever put a match to WD40 while squirting it?
Makes a great ant get riddoner whilst on holiday.
